Family Services, Inc. is a private non-profit organization founded in 1964 to strengthen families.
Our mission is to "empower families and individuals with life skills and knowledge-for achieving sustained self-sufficiency and improved quality of life." We provide effective programs and services on prevention, intervention and preservation. We educate individuals, support families and strengthen the community.
We are nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation and recognized for excellence in meeting Best Practice standards for program delivery, governance, financial operations, and performance and quality improvement. We are a United Way of Greater Lafayette Agency, a Montgomery United Fund For You (MUFFY) agency, and we are members of the national Alliance for Children and Families.
No matter what your circumstances, we are happy to assist. Fees for service are assessed on a sliding scale based on family size and income. We also accept Medicaid and most health insurance.
